The Pennsylvania AFL-CIO represents over 850,000 workers throughout Pennsylvania.  President Rick Bloomingdale and Secretary-Treasurer Frank Snyder were elected unanimously to a 4-year term at the April 2010 Convention.

The Central PA Area Labor Federation is made up of labor councils and affiliate unions from 17 counties in South/Central Pennsylvania.

The Northeast PA Area Labor Federation represents affiliates and labor councils in 21 counties stretching from the Lehigh Valley to North/Central Pennsylvania.

The Northwestern PA Area Labor Federation covers 19 counties from the northern suburbs of Pittsburgh to Erie and into North/Central Pennsylvania.

The Southeastern Area Labor Federation of Pennsylvania is made up of over 200 unions in the 5 counties outside of Philadelphia.

The Southwestern Pennsylvania Area Labor Federation is anchored in Pittsburgh and represents unions and labor councils in Allegheny, Fayette, Greene and Washington counties.
